Building Surveys

Building Surveys are the most detailed inspection available, and are particularly suitable for unique properties, including older properties, listed buildings and properties altered or extended.

The report will include full details of all visible elements of the building             and items of disrepair and defect. It examines all accessible parts of the             property. It will also include information relating to the method of                         construction condition of the structure and likely future repairs.

Building Surveys also examine outbuildings, boundary walls and fencing            as well as drainage systems.

Building Surveys are very comprehensive reports which include multiple            photos of defects and the various elements of the property. An                              estimation of reinstatement cost for insurance purposes is not included

and neither is a valuation but these can be provided as additional service

        if you require.

You can ask to have specific areas included so that the report covers any           particular concerns you have about the building. It is a product which                 can be tailored to your needs.

Clients are encouraged to contact the surveyor after they have read the report to discuss the main findings of the survey. This provides the opportunity to raise any specific concerns you may have.
